The notion inspired me enough to open IR and try a simple animation. Here goes, never did this before...

I don't get it...

"You can't run. You can't hide. No surprise. Close your eyes. Come with me."

Is that supposed to be the subliminal part? Or am I missing something?

*hands out two cookies to mobrul and kretsminsky*

this one was too easy. I couldn't do anything better right now, since I'm busy reformatting my old comp... hey, do you guys use netscape? some of my animations go incredibly fast in it!

I opened Netscape 6 (Mac) just for you... you're right, your animation.. and Dracusis' too haul ass! But mine is the same, as are Mr. Max's slimies. Why is that? You using a different prog that handles delays differently or something?

edit: this is strange, now some of them don't show up at all.. just a big empty space.. netscape sucks, I'm going back to IE.

you don't wanna know what happens when I'm inspired. You'd better duck. ^_^ could you show us the results when you're done?

Taxon: Dead on. x_x

Rotren: somewhere between 5 secs from now 'till infinity.

Cyoung: I set the frames to 'no delay'. I think Netscape takes that quite litterarily (sp?)

VPChrisPV, are you aware that your carrots... all five of them.. leave nasty trails all over the page? Or maybe it's just the effect that page has on my vision.

It only does that in MSIE for Mac. It doesn't in Netscape or MSIE/Netscape for Windows (at least, not on the four PCs I checked it on <g>. As far as I can tell, it has to do with MSIE using Apple's MRJ, which is horrid. Since Netscape uses its own internal Java thing, it doesn't leave trails. To save my sanity, I decided that as long as it worked on WinMSIE & Netscape and looked mostly ok on MacSIE, that's it.

BUT...if you have a way to fix it, I'll be very obliged. I'm still learning Javascript programming, and the outs of four different browser platforms still escape me.

I'd like to help.. really I would.. but I understand very very little about java. I had a good grip on html a couple years ago but got over it. Too little time to learn everything I'd like to know I'm afraid.. but workin on it anyway.
