Okay, here's the second rendition of the image I put up earlier. I fixed most of the things you guys suggested. I also added a cowling for the exposed pipes and decided to make it land based instead of space based.

Well, comments and suggestions please

Comments: Looks good. An improvment on your last poasting from what I can remember. The ground and the shadow look great!

Suggestions: Ok, the cockpit, main body and the two huge engines of the ship make sense to me, but the other stuff behind the cockpit don't seem to 'fit in' imho. Also, look into the different texture and bump mapping options that blender has to offer, and try out some different textures and bumps. The one's your using at the moment look a little odd. I don't know anything about 'particles' in 3D or even if blender can do them but some exahust smoke or an engine glow would look wicked too. I'm also not a huge fan of curvey spaceships, I like my tech stuff to have nice sharp angles, but that's just a personal thing.

Put it in Space! Then it'll look a lot more like a spaceship then it will in any desert and copy is heaps of times and show an a whole fleet of ships, mabey even a space battel? Ok so i'm probably pussing it now but he, I's a nice idea no?..!

Can we see if from a different angle next time?

All in all it looks great!

I'm feeling a bit dis-jointed today

Okay, I lost that thingy behind the cockpit. You're right, it was kind of weird looking and didn't fit at all.

Here are two more views:

Looking better. It looks like you used mesh modeling for this, is that right? If so I would suggest trying some nurbs(curves) or subdivision(surface) modeling on your next project. here is a great little tutorial (written for rhino, but there's nothing rhino can do that blender can't)...

There are two tutorials there, check them both out.

As for the render you have now, the bump map on the body is just not convincing me... maybe it's too blurry, or maybe it's because the lines in the body dont' look right when they meet another object (like the cocpit window). Unfortunatly I don't know what you can do to fix that, but i'm sure if you decide to persue it you'll find a way.
