Long time no speak. Howdy from the frozen wasteland also known as Minnesota. I am finally going to get that piece of paper that entitles me to belong to the "real" world. UGH! Hoever, I want to work oversees and my career office coordinators are not to bright to help me in finding a job. Any ideas I where I should post resumes or other ideas?

I have a friend who's been through this before. She graduated Software Engineering with first class honours last year and she wanted to work in the UK. London to be more specific. So, she saved up quite a bit of money then flew off to englind to live with one of our other friends that's recently done a similar thing.

She didn't have a job lined up when she moved but she did have enough money to last her for about 6 months. She's been there for about 4 months now without any great success. She has found work there but not the kind of jobs she was looking for...

However, after actuly living in London for about 3 months she realised that there was a lot of things about little ol Brisbane that she took for granted. So, now she's decided to quit her job in london and turn the rest of her trip into a holiday. She'll be comming back end of April and already has a job lined up with Griffith University working on their IT standards.

The point of this story? Be carefull what you ask for, you may actually get it.
