I have been asked to construct a 10-page web site. No bells and whistles are wanted just a very simple static site. I have done freelancing in the print arena but have yet to do any with web design. Can anyone give me some feedback as to what I should charge for the work? Thanks in advance!

well.. there is many things that we would have to know before give you some prices.

You need to calculate how much time it will take you and decide either charge per hour or for a project. Now, becarefull when you charge flat project fee because client might "try" to step all over you and it will never end. Trust me, it happened to me recently. Do this, do that, it can't be hard, to no end.

I would charge anywhere between 35 to 50 bucks per hour. But again, it depends what exactly they want.
