Preserved Topic: Mac Netscape - image probs (Page 1 of 1)

I don't have access to a Mac... at the moment, I'll try to later, but will be a while, so maybe you can explain this to me...

I got an email from a user saying that when he goes to view the picture that he uploaded to my site when using Netscape on his Mac, it won't show up. Works fine in IE, but not NN. He thinks hes using nn4.7

will an upgrade of nn do the trick for him? is there another solution? why the hell won't a simple jpeg show up in NN for the Mac? I've heard this complaint from others too...

There is no reason for an image not to show up, unless you have it placed on an iLayer or are using some css to display the image (n4 doesn't display css corectly) Post a link, and I'll take a look with my mac.

Also, your friend could have graphics turned off in netscape.

yeah, I'm stumped at this... the image is all on its own in the window... url is "..whatever/more/something.jpg".

i'll ask if he has images turned off or something dumb

Should be

../whatever/more/something.jpg

need the / after the ..

that was just to show I'm talking about a jpg, not a jpg in a page, but yeah... you are right
