1976, eh? Hmm, let's see, I was still in high school then, and heading off to my 2 years stint as a hippie living in Vermont, selling my artwork on the street as a peddler, working for other peddlers when I didn't have the work saved up. (Mot original stated intent when I went there was to be a Physics major at UVM, but I had too much fun! Heh.) I was heavy into pen & ink work, using hawk and crow quills mainly, and my work, looking back, was pretty primitive. Maybe I'll see about borrowing a dgital camera this weekend and doing some documentation of my only remaining works from that time period, should still be enough for a web archive, I figure. Thanks for sharing that piece, Doc!

Guys/Gals............Dont take what ever i do as seriouse...............i am someone who loves what he does and does it well..........thats why i live........so i can enjoy whatever life wants to to help me experience. This forum allows more of that experience to be challenged

Doc-O.........i grew up in Rhode Island and spent a lot of time in Vermont and NewHampshire......had to go to either State if you wanted to Ski...............I too was heavy into pastels and ink. The 70s was very good ta me......

I did this image at age 12 with pastels............being an artist and making a living at it is awesome.

Street art is where it starts .............

Those are nice Doc C.

Wow, in 76, I was 4 years out of high school, totally bullet proof, my body a pharmacuitical warehouse, married and had my first kid.

Good year. It was a simpler time , a happier time, a safer time...
