Many of you I am sure use audio galaxy, and I am looking to improve performance. Want I am wondering about is creating a bot that would organize downloaded music.

Audio galaxy has a page that has folders of all the music you have, and has it organized. But on your HD it is not, on the HD it is in a single directory.

Now the bot would visit the webpage, copy down the directory stucture and name of the song at the end, it would be a sort of tree structure. Then it would go into the directory of choice and organize that directory in the same manner.

Now here is the hard part, does anyone have any ideas on how to achomplish this. I am thinking that perl would be a nice choice of a language. But for some reason I have a feeling that this would be a bit of a challenging undertaking.

So in that respect has someone already made this program?

if not, does anyone have any sort of direction that they could offer?

LWP::UserAgent is a good place to start.
