Oh, I got toasted. I was looking around for a image gallery script to plug into this site I'm working on, and downloaded and installed this script that used the GD library for creating thumbnails and whatnot. Well, it wasn't everything I had hoped for, so I figured I'd wait till I had time to learn enough to write my own, so I started deleting things. BUT! Now I have two different directories of thumbnails, (created by "nobody", I assume?), and I can't delete or move them, it's driving me crazy! I don't have root on this server, or access to it (truth to tell I'm kinda embarrased to ask, heh), so I guess I'll need a "kill these files" PHP script, which should work with the same permissions as the first one, hmm? Any thoughts on this problem of mine? Any hint would be appreciated!
