Anyone know if it's possible to get a list of physical drives on a user's machine.?

(this is to be used on an internal network)

for the server:
not easily, since unix systems don't have what you are likely to be referring too (a:, c:, d:...),

for the client:
Not with php (which is only on the server.)
Neither with Javascript, for security reasons.
Anyhow, if it's an internal network, you can probably use a windows app...

What OS are you running on the server(s) and clients? There are quite a few perl modules for Win32 system management. There is more than likely something in that set of modules that will do what you want.
