@Tiberius Prime: Oops ok. Im using Internet explorer 6.0.2800.1108 xpsp 2 where I'm getting the little yellow triangular warning symbol at the bottom left on the status bar saying Error on page (Insert slimies drop down menu link not working and Insert UBB Code dropdown link not working either.) In fact all options in the "Insert Text" area are disabled.

... but in Mozilla Firefox v 0.8, Mozilla Firebird v0.7 and AOL version 8 browser everything is working just fine..

Ahh.. I just noticed something else.. I put my original post in.. then I try to edit it as I spotted some spelling mistakes.. then when I try to edit it a second or third time my text in the text editable area returns to the first version I submitted with the first set of error.. even if I try to edit it within the allowed time frame (ie. withing 30 seconds even)

We have a similar issue that started as we began testing two of our websites after copying them from an older NT4 machine using IIS4 to a new web server running 2003 and IIS6... No problems with original functions at all when accessing the site using Mozilla or Netscape (secure, login scripts, yada yada- everything performs normally), but using IE we get almost identical errors to what it is that you describe.

We did use the IIS6 resource kit for the initial deployment/migration-

(Not entirely similar I suppose, though any clues at all may point to at least some additional info for either of us)
