We have done so.

upon further inspection its only IE giving me this problem, works fine in Firefox

in IE i get a red x for the image and the link shows that image code crap
GIF89axD÷ñÉhkH£?[þþþV4Wu?´r etc etc......

i just thought there might have been a change in the allowable scripts but as i see many others are still using the rotator i see now that it has nothing to do with the new Asylum (which is great btw thanks to TP everybody that helped).

wierd.. ill look into this further this afternoon

well, if you can read that GIF89 marker at the beginning of the file in IE - chances are that IE just didn't recognize it as a gif.
Make sure your sig rotator is sending out the right content-type:image/gif header, if it doesn't, or worse, sends out an image/jpeg one, browsers could get confused, discover that they can't decode it as a jpeg, and just print it as text.

Yup, seems to be working again now.

For what it's worth, the sig rotator automatically detects and sends out the proper mime type. If it doesn't that means the image is corrupted in some way. I realize that doesn't seem to be the problem here, just commenting on what TP said.
