Now, I had immediatly submitted this when I finished it, but I've now removed it becuase it's not cooperating with me. There should a wipe from right to left at the end, but that last frame seems to be repeating for the time the others were supposed ot take instead. And that's most strange, considering that in the original file, which I checked the animation in just before I saved this version, and it worked perfectly there.



Maybe it could have something ot do with the fact I had to save it twice so I could remove the 43,4,4 matte from the background of the gif to get proper transparency...is there a way to declare a certain colour 'transparent' when saving out a GIF from ImageReady?

Oooh...I'm likin' them. The second one is probably more appropriate than the other one in terms of sig-ality, becuase not everyone may know that you used the trble cleft as your symbol.

maybe a combination of the two?

Outcydr: Oh, cool idea using the chinese sign... Think I will do up a version of mine as well. Your's looks great!

Skaarjj: Great sig. I did a version in stars as well but it pales in comparison! Love the transition to the full drawing.

Tao: Agree that the treble cleft is a bit much and looks almost crowded in there with the other details of the sig. However the second one almost looks as if the "Tao" part was an after thought and not part of the original sig. Love the scorpions though! That part of the sig rocks, just think your name should blend in better somehow...

Thanks Skaarjj and Jung, I agree with your comments. I need to develop the idea more. Here is another one I am working on, I think I still need to do more work on the scorpion. I have never tried a banner like sig for myself before, 'twas fun
Skaarjj, it looks like you have solved any transparency issues you were having, are you still working on it or is it ready to go? Looks good.
Jung, that quote's 2001 if I remember correctly

I have no transparency issues with it...I'm having animation issues...the final part of the animation is getting cut out when I save out the final file, and I don't know why.

Ah, I see, I've never had that problem before, sorry I can't be of more help. How many frames get cut out? (just being nosey)

I tried to post my sig entry to the contest thread, but it wouldn't store the post... I got a message saying the "appropriate person has been notified"... I'm guessing that's either TP or Emps...
But here's what I came up with for now. I may do anther one later, as the muse strikes me. I like astrology.
Lots of Scorpios here... were all the inmates born in November? I just KNOW there are other Pisces out there... Not to mention the other 10 signs in the Zodiac!


Tao - those are both beautiful! What's your real birth sign? I'd like to see you do one with that! You have some real talent, I must admit...
