This page has a set of pure text links that fade in and out on mouse over...but I'm damned if I can find the code that controls them so I can see how it works, the source is simply a mess! Has anyone ever come across something like that before?

Quite possibly. I haven't tried the page in any other browsers to know if it is or not

Edit: having looked at that script TP, it doesn't appear to be what I'm looking at. It appears to control the fade you get between pages (click enter on the site front-page and, once you're in, click on the link tht says 'deadly nightshade' and you'll see what I'm talking about). This too may be an IE only thing.

well - actually, it's a pretty simple script that just builds (multiple, differently) weighted averages of two colors, and then set's an element's color to it...
