This is Ed Elric from FullMetal Alchemist, *Yes, another manga... damn my soft heart...*

I have been working with light skin tones... i think this is going well.

I know I have alot to do left on it, like the arm, his clothes and the background. (Right now I am researching metal textures and lighting on armor.) I am working right now on adding scabs to the raw skin patchs. And I still need more practice with highlights but I have been working on that!

I used photoshop 4 with my own custom brushes and basic color pallette.... I textured the hair, and tried making my own irritated skin texture around the metal of the arm... *doesn't it just want you to tell him 'You know that will not heal if you continue to pick at it...'* but basically I am just experimenting here.

Again, this is from the manga... it is not my drawing, I just color it.

This is from FullMetal Alchemist by: Hiromu Arakawa

Coloring Only by me: Wolfen.

*sigh* Too bad I do not get paid to do this.... This is just practice.

Sanity is optional... (and so is clothes!)

Great work!
Don't know anything about graphics stuff so I can't give you any tips on what to do better, but since I'm a fan of FullMetal Alchemist as well I couldn't pass by without commenting
