Oh dear, even I can see a difference between posting insults on a forum and writing a strongly-worded email, and can't see the aim in posting private (insulting or not) emails to make a purile point. Are you a journalist frustrated with your inability to write what you want in your profession by any chance, Xpirex?

No need to be angry all the time, and the rush is never worth the come-down.

Personally, I assumed Lacuna was female. Now I know she's a gal with sharp nails.

Well.. I apologize if it seemed I was attempting to twist your words, that was not my intention. If you didn't mean the things that I "implied" when replying to your comments, then to be quite honest... it's a good thing I posted. Because I can assure you, I'm not the only person reading your post with those thoughts.
So ease up on the "pick up where yaddya yaddya left off.." stuff. I'm hardly being harassing.

If you don't consider the email bits a breach of privacy, well there's not much I can say about that. E-mails are often two way streets however... sender and sendee. It's just a level of courtesy in my eyes, I suppose.
I wouldn't consider a loose paraphrase of an email-- crossing the borders of what I'm talking about either, no.

Therefore, post your thoughts on this, on wether 1. is a reason for being banned temporarily and on how we should proceed about this.

1. Is it O.K. to insult someone in a way that would be reason for a lawsuit in some western countries?

...no. i find the best insults are those which leave the person insulted thinking you have just praised them. even if you (the insulter) are the only one who realizes it.

2. Is it O.K. to use some bad words that some people think you shouldn't use?

...i suppose it's socially acceptable these days, but there is no real need for it. it just shows up your lack of vocabulary. (i'm guilty too)

3. Is there a difference between cursing in english and cursing in another Language?

...not really. there are people here from all over the world who understand many languages. and if they don't, it isn't too hard to find out what a word or phrase means.

i would tend to agree that a temporary ban with e-mail notification might be a good thing at times. as long as the person banned is allowed to come back at least long enough to work things out or NOT. a permanent ban would not be fair to anyone, unless it is somewhat unanimous among the moderators, if not even so among the general population. i've been around long enough to know that a lot of people here have shed blood, sweat, and tears to get this place to where it is. you gotta respect that, and if you don't, as far as i'm concerned you can get the hell out.

True, it's not too hard to figure out what sheizen means.

Let's just give this issue a rest. We are all mature enough here to choose whether we, ourselves want to swear or not. Who are we to judge others on their choices?

The saddest part is that wrinkle cream doesn't work. I've been using it for years, and my balls still look like raisons.

Thought perhaps a refence to ^ would help. Buttered Overville Red... to those who come forward and identify themselves.

|---------------------------|

A friend of mine is going to upgrade his girlfriend 7.0 to wife 1.0 in a couple weeks time.
I am pretty happy about it.

--------------

Well, I upgraded my last girlfriend to wife 2.0 and I am happy with the decision so far (9 years later).
---------------

I'd really like to upgrade mine, but I should wait longer to do it.
---------------

My girlfriend's still in 1.66... as you know that was when the JustSitThereAndLookPretty Engine was still beta and replaced with NagBoyfriend 1.0 which keeps prompting you for useless information and, when you let it lag, crashes with a "You Don't Love Me" Error.

---------------

Not upgrading anytime soon, but constantly considering an Uninstall..

...at least the Sex Drive adapter and drivers work wonderfully. Not only is the drive consistently accessed, the drive light stays on all night...
*smile*
---------------

I'd like to start from the bottom out with Girlfriend 1.0, but I can't afford the high fees necessary to even take it out off the shelf. Luckily though it means I avoid the NagBoyfriend Engine and 'You Don't Love Me' Errors, but the Sex Drive is something I might like to have. Maybe one day I'll be able to avoid it. As with all things people regularly do to operate their computers/lives/everything else, bachelourhood is habit forming.
--------

what the!

You're all treating your girl/boyfriend as computers, now this is really something.

---------

Has anyone had any success in running multiple instances of girlfriend???????? It might be handy to keep a couple of older versions (1.0, 2.0 ect) running for compatibility issues....

I have also heard that a lot of the older fun stuff that worked with Girlfriend doesn't always work with Wife.... It might be handy to have a copy of each....

-----------

Not at all, mate.
Even I just wanna Good Femail Friend 1.0.
Unfortunately my femail frieds are pretty older than me........

-----------

I think I am lucky. My application wife 2.0 used to crash at the beginning, I believe that it had some incompatibilities still going on, but as I used it more and more, applying proper patches, it got a lot better; likewise, I also learned a lot from wife 2.0 and now the program runs very smoothly, no crashes anymore. I have even being able to code two other programs, daughter 1.0 and daughter 2.0, not that here the version really matters but it makes sense since both daughters are way too different one from another. I really don't miss any of my former applications, girlfriend x.x and superior. I use that kind of operational system that can't run both applications - wife 2.0 and girlfriend x.x - at the same time. It's an old OS.
But actually, my wife 2.0 is very well coded; it has some nice features built-in like running other child applications: friend 9.0, lover 10.0, partner 5.0, woman 8.0, worker 8.0, mother 9.0 so on. It's a handy aplication.

----------

Seriously, all of you need to get away from your computers.

Like now.

----------

You mean get away from my favorite applications: wife 2.0, daughter 1.0 and daughter 2.0 ??
I just can't live without them!

---------

Sex Drive also comes bundled with various versions (but not all!) of DarkAlluringStranger (available at many Public Utility Booths), but may sometimes load viruses into your computer. I highly recommend running some sort of virus/spawn protection- you have been warned!!

viol- is that OS ChristianValuesXP? If so, there are many work arounds, such as running Confession Pro...

--------

No, I don't run this version of XP (ChristianValuesXP). I think Microsoft doesn't even have the knowlegde - and values - to code such an OS.
Anyway, my OS is a GoodValues&PrinciplesXP Special Edition (it's a hack of WinXP made by Linux people, believe it or not). It's simple and with a clean interface, that's all. I've never installed Religion 11.x in it. Never run Confession Pro either. Is it freeware?
I don't believe this sort of applications could help me out. I rely mostly on the OS itself for when bugs or crashes happens.
Lately, I've been using wife 2.0 to find out some answers to questions that have no answers at all and my conclusion is that if I were to install a Religious application in my OS I would use some app coded by people from the Orient, from the other side of the World, I mean, they make better such apps than we do, they are famous for being talented in programming and work for less money (Microsoft loves to hire Indians, for instance, because they are cheap and good). Buddhism 2003 would probably be a nice app to install and try to learn how to use it.

--------

Why do I get the feeling quite a few people here also rely on Madame Palm 1.0 and the accompanying Daughters 5.0 but aren't prepared to admit it?

|---------------|

More please.

And that up there is one of those posts that imo =) should have... maybe was...archived. Classic. Big fun...big giggle. Follow DB's rules. Don't sweat....

I'm in Abby, about 10 minutes from Mission.

Last time I was on VI it was to explore some wicked-awesome caves up there. Sadly we sat for over 12 hours waiting for the damn ferries. We missed making the first ferry by ONE vehicle.
