I bought a brush pen, and used it. But it turned out horrible.

And a photograph I took. Cool squirrels.

Yeah, C&C are really appreciated. Mostly the C representing crits, whichever that one is.

I'm afraid I can't draw to save my life counterfeitbacon, so the only comments I can honestly make is that I have watched your work from month to month and it has improved greatly. I prefer the pencil ones to the ink. I hope you keep on practising and improving.
Have you tried importing any of these into PhotoShop and doodling further?

I can see a great improvment in your work. That squirrel is especially life like .

Your use of line and shading has become more pronounced and gives a life to your frawings that was not there before. I'm not sure, but it seems to me that I can see where some of these drawings were done from someone you were looking at and others were done from your imagination. This is a sign you are starting to draw what you see (a very good thing).

In the drawing with the nude, it looks as if you became distracted by the girls nudity. The other two girls in the picture are more realistic. The nude is not as alive as the other two.

I particularly like the drawing of the girl with her luggage, the girl in pink below the drawing of the nude, and the sketch of the girl in the jean jacket. I like the composition of the girl with her luggage. Her foot up on the luggage adds a nice touch. It makes the drawing interesting. The shading and drawing of the the face of the girl in pink is very good. There is a reality and life there not in most of your other drawings. The composition and execution of the girl in the jean jacket is very well done. That picture could stand on it's own or could be used as the basis of another picture where you added shading, depth and detail.

All-in-all there is a lot of improvement here.

Thank you Tao, fenja, and hyberbole

Tao: usually I don't do anything more to them. I kind of draw, move to the next page, and forget about what I did. Because usually I see some improvement in the next on, or next five, or whatever, and then consider the latter drawings to be inferior, or something, and don't return to them.

hyberbole: distracted by the nudity? As far as I can recall, I wasn't, since I usually start with a head, and draw down from there, which is most likely bad form. =p I'm not sure really why people say they like the girl in pink though, I think it's one of my least favorite (both of them). Anyways, thanks for the comments/crits .

Ok, I got a new batch, most done yesterday, and some today.

I think I'm going to make a WIP out of this one, and finish it:

And some others

I had to resize her head, because it was too small. these are the same sketches, I just redid it (I took two seperate pictures). I fucked up her head though. It's a harder angle to pull off than I'm used to, because of the lips mostly. I don't know why her hand is behind her back either. I'll rationalize me lazyness and notwantingtodrawanotherhand though by saying she's grabbing something.

And misc. stuff:

And a failed attempt at using ink with the shittiest brushes imaginable.

and more blurryness coupled with a bad drawing.
