Hi folks,

Wondering if anyone has deployed an intranet on sbs 2000 and could explain what need to be done. I assume that it is hosted within IIS but i have never played with it. Basicly i want to deploy a small intranet which can only be accessed from within the local network via a web browser i.e. http://mydomain

The poster has demanded we remove all his contributions, less he takes legal action.
We have done so.
Now Tyberius Prime expects him to start complaining that we removed his 'free speech' since this message will replace all of his posts, past and future.
Don't follow his example - seek real life help first.

You can limit access to it in the ISM to just the local network by allowing access to only your local subnet. In SBS2003, this is done by default (I can't recall if that's the case in SBS2000 - I'll look around and see if I can find an SBS2000 server around here). SBS2003 includes an intranet by default as well.
