does anybody know about making pages espesially for mobiles. do you have to make special pages or do they just read normal pages and what languages will they read (im hoping to use php) and anything else that people might think is helpfull

I believe most mobile phones read WML.

Most newer phones are capable of reading both WML and XHTML pages. Often the determining factor is what kind of bridging service is in place for cellphones in a particular area. There might be a WAP bridge in place , or maybe GSM is available.

PHP can be used to make dynamic WML pages with just a few tweeks to either the httpd.conf file on an Apache server or by setting handlers in your htaccess files (this may be your only choice if you are not a systems admin for the webserver).

If GSM is available in your area cellphones can get XHTML pages too. This means that you can also serve up Flash pages!
