Anyone know of some good practical hotkey shortcuts or other miscelania for Corel Draw 10?

I am having trouble transitioning from photoshop. For instance; where is the damn Flip Horizontal?

Corel uses 'mirror' instead of flip. On the menu bar try Arrange/Transform then select rotate/mirror. Something should pop up. Or try Alt+F9 You'll be able to figure it out from there I'm sure

In the options menu you can assign your own shortcuts. Just look at the actions menu and set it.

Thanks for the tips....

what about color seperations?

Specifically halftone color seperations... do I need special software for that or can I jus print by color?

"Prepare for Service Bureau" under 'File' That's on version 8. Your results may vary but I'm sure you'll find it somewhere. =)

Thank You,

How do I turn the different colors into just black and white without greyscales?

I am trying to make silk screens for use with plastisol inks... the guy we buy our vellums from is raising prices and difficult to contact at times. So, I am looking to figure out how to do the halftones with the spot color silk screens. I have photoshop 7 and corel 10 to work with.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out with this.

For some reason my advance options box on Corel isnt working. I can get the seperations but they gradually go across the color... this doesnt translate well on a silk screen. I need the halftone made up of little dots like those pointilistic[sp] paintings... but they need to be all black dots and the intensity of their size and spread determines how the inks will pass through the screens... am I explaining the issue correctly?

Either way, Thank you for the help.

Look up 'Halftone screen' in the help file.
