This was news to me. Seems to address the frequently asked question of how to get Flash movies to display BELOW dHTML content (such as menus).

Article also contains some info about Flash and usability, but I suspect knowing about the wmode attribute will be of use to many people here. In short, it permits a browser to honor a z-index for a Flash movie which previously was not possible I don't believe.

Pretty cool, though (as always) browser support is a wild card.

And it can be done simply by putting the following code where your swf object parameters are.

<PARAM NAME="wmode" VALUE="transparent">



This can also be done from within the Flash itself by selecting Transparent Windowsless for Window Mode in your HTML Publish Settings.
