Simple enough, eh? What are the hotkeys you use or count on the most...

I'll start with ...

Ctrl + Z for AI and CDR
Ctrl + Alt + Z for PS

LOL... always need an undo

But also

Shift + Backspace for PS is handy for filling a selection with a color

And I forget the one that calls up the mask thing when you click on a layer. Ya know the one where you can paste a B+W image into the mask... whats that one?

As a user of both Windows and Mac who often switch between them rather frequently, I find the ones I most appreciate are:

HOME & END :
For string navigation. On Mac they are often mapped to beginning of document and end of document instead, which is really, really irritating.

CTRL (+ SHIFT) + TAB :
For moving between tabs. These vary between the browsers on the Mac, some use OPTION, some use CTRL. CMD (which usually acts like CTRL does on Windows) acts like ALT does on Windows, providing a fast task switcher.

F9-F11 :
Exposé controls on the Mac. Hard to live without it, but on Windows I must.

CMD + , :
Preferences for your Mac program. (I guess this is caused by my rather short experience of being a Mac user - I doubt users that have longer experience use it as often)

CMD + H :
Hide (not minimise, that's CMD + M) application on the Mac. Get's windows out of the way.

Backspace :
Mozilla fails to map this to back-in-history on the Mac, in difference to all other browsers on the platform. Irritating like nothing else. (On the Mac called Delete, which should NOT be confused with the DEL button.)

CTRL / CMD + W / T :
Finally some uniformity - close and open new tab, respectively, on both platforms. Sadly Opera breaks this nice standard by using CMD / CTRL + N to open new tabs if run in tabbed mode.

We've had these lists before, I always learn something new from it...

Here's my current favorites (in Windows, of course):

winkey + e = open Win Explorer

ctrl + A = select all

ctrl + Z = the ever necessary "undo"!

But I see some others up there I'm going to start using... helpful stuff!

Ctrl+X/C/V - Cut/Copy/Paste
F5 - Refresh page

General
Ctrl+P - Print
Win+M - Desktop
Win - Start menu
Win+L - Switch User
Ctrl+Z - Undo
Ctrl+A - Select All

And the old favourite...
Ctrl+Alt+Del - Task Manger

Ahh, good old shift-delete. It's almost as good as mv to /dev/null

And my favorites (Windows, WinKey == Windows Key):
WinKey-E : Open Explorer window, very nifty
WinKey-D : Minimize all windows, and if you press it again it maximizes them
WinKey-R : Open Run dialog
WinKey-F : Open search
ctrl-shift-esc : open windows task manager
ctrl-esc : Open Start menu
ctrl-s : Save
ctrl-c : Copy
ctrl-v : Paste
ctrl-x : Cut
ctrl-z : Undo
alt-tab : switch application focus
alt-f4 or ctrl-w : close program
WinKey-R, then type "compmgmt.msc /s" : open computer management snapin
WinKey-r, "cmd" : command prompt
ctrl-alt-del, then hit spacebar : lock computer (very, very handy)
