Hi, I work in Prepress, and was wondering if anyone knows of a program to impose the pages of the quark. We are now using the preps, but we are having a bit of trouble with that, and I would be gratefull if someone knows of other program that is used to impose pages in quark, or indesigne. It dosen´t matter if it is for pc or for mac, if it is for boths better.

thanks nico

Well Preps is all I have ever used, and not often at that. So I can't be much help other then to point you to some resources.

Here are a few I found, but I haven't tried any of them.

Imposer Pro: http://www.alap.com/products/imposerproqxp.html

Impostion Publisher: http://www.farrukh.co.uk/Imposition%20Software/index.html

Dynastrip: http://www.dynagram.com/html/en_prod_ds.htm

Signastaion: http://www.us.heidelberg.com/03_pro/prepress/output/signastation.asp

Quite Imposing/Quite Imposing Pro: I have heard great things about this app and other applications from this developer. Used for imposition on PDF files, and functions as a plug-in for Acrobat 4,5 and 6.
