Greetings,

I just started a ecommerce store that sells gaming console modchips to the mainstream consumers. The url would be http://www.allmodchip.com. Please go the site and surf around if you would like and let me know any pros and cons about the design and overall structure of the site.

Please do not limit your comments. The only way for one to succeed is to learn from his own mistakes

Again, I would like to thank anyone who took the time to look over my site. Your time and concern is greatly appreciated.

Also keep in mind that I'm trying to go for a clean and simple design. Main goals are easy navigation and fast loading.

I think I get to be the first one here to yell at you about your terrible missuse of tables, and lack of standards.

You might want to look into the FAQ for CSS design guides, and guides on standards compliance. I am sure you will learn a whole lot.

Everything on that design was created by the shopping cart program itself from php and then generated into html format. If you can give me a quick suggestion on what I did wrong then that would be even more helpful.

From a consumer's perspective the site is clean and easy to navigate. All the information is clearly displayed and it uses the white space effectively. I'm not sure about load times over a modem, but it came up quickly on my cable broadband.

Warmage's comments are from a designer's point of view so you'll have to wait for some specific comments.

Other than that, looks okay to me.

One thing though, the white line around the heading boxes looks a bit off to me. If y ou were going for some type of highlight effect, it doesn't work since the corresponding shadow is much more diffuse. Otherwise, having it go all the way around the top might be a good idea, but that's mostly my opinion.
