Several kind people contributed a few bucks to THE BOX fund some time ago and since it's been on the back burner for so long (and it's unclear when it will pick back up again), would any of those who contributed mind if I redirect that money toward Pat's fund? I hate for it to just sit there doing no good. Hey, it's all in the family, right?

If anyone objects, I'm certainly cool with that; just e-mail me and let me know.

Amen! But that's certainly one reason I stuck it out. There was too much riding on this. We got contacted by people from as close as within the agency itself to as far away as Sweden. The support has been fantastic. I knew it was going to be interesting when it originally hit Slashdot....

Contributions have been (and will continue to be) gladly accepted untill the bills are paid. Then, we will no longer accept them (what would be the point?). People have donated as little as $1 via PayPal, and some (including several here) have donated more than once.

Harrison Township should impound his police cars until this thing is settled!

It's funny, because several months ago, the township kicked them out of a little office they were using. I think the Sheriff's office is using that as a reason to pull this stunt. It's retaliation and extortion!
