I'm looking for an experienced designer who is comfortable hand-coding pages in (X)HTML, using CSS for layout. Experience with ECMAScript/JavaScript for form verification, etc, is a plus.

You must be available almost immediately for some fairly quick work on about 5-10 pages, including some forms, login page, etc. Timeline for this project is 2 weeks or less, design budget is $1000-$2000.

We also will need some graphics work including possibly a logo.

If interested and available, please submit the following:

An honest evaluation of your skill set.
When you can start.
How much time you can devote to the project.
Portfolio of previous work.
How we can get in touch with you (ICQ, Jabber, email, etc)

Send email to:

decemo@mjclement.com

Please post any questions here about the project.
Thanks!

The login page alone will usually require some kind of server side-coding if you want it to be secure at all, so if anyone does pick this up, likely case is you woulc be expecting the project to end up costing you $1500+ if they have to make a design for you from scratch, template it all, design and implement the code, create your login and form processing pages, etc; that and you'll also be cutting it very clsoe with only a 2 week timeline. May I ask why such a heavy time restriction?

Hi Skaarjj,

Sorry, I didn't get an email from the board when you replied.

The position is now filled.

To answer your questions, we needed someone to fill a team. The server-side coding is being done by someone else on the team (me), we needed someone with CSS, XHTML, and JavaScript skills, and that's what we found.

Again, the position has been filled, many thanks to all who emailed!
