Hi,

I am looking for a utility to search file contents on my pc, would be great if it supported regular expressions, and would really be great if it did not behave like the windows xp content search. Oh, by the way, here is a link to a reported bug which comes with XP.

http://channels.lockergnome.com/windows/backissues/20040113.phtml
See: ALERT: Serious XP Bug

Here is the fix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q309173
See: Method 2

But there is still a dilemna, in that after the above XP fix, you still are not able to search ASP scripts!

^ What WarMage said. Google Desktop rules. I use it, and love it.

Okay, that by far is the coolest tool ever! Everyone needs this utility! I mean, WOW!
I've been sitting here now for about 20 minutes just searching for stuff on my computer... and wow, FAST FAST FAST!!!! (good 'ole google - and I thought all that speed was due to many super-computers crunching the searches behind the scene).

THANK YOU GOOGLE!
