Moments ago, Scott Peterson, who was on trial for the double murder case of Laci (wife) and Conner (unborn son) Peterson, was just convicted of Murder in the First Degree for Laci and Murder in the Second Degree for Conner.

I just don't know how to react to this, I mean I thought he was guilty all along but still.... kind shocking.

I really don't get these guys... I mean, I live in UT and you may have heard of the Lori Hacking case. I just don't get why they think murder is some kind of answer. If you've got another lover, or another life why not just tell your wife? I wonder if that crossed there minds. I know, kind of a pointless post

I'm still trying to figure out why out of all the murders that happen in the U.S. this one turned into such a high profile case.

This one just happend in a particularly slow period in the news. Chritmas/New Years is traditionally a slow news period because most of business, sports and govt' is on vacation. it's wasn't anything special, just happened to be in the right place, right time.

Skaarjj. As stated it's pretty much a guy who murdered his wife. Nothing really special about it (not to discount the death of Laci Peterson) except how it became newsworthy in the US.

I'm actually suprised by the verdict. From all I heard the prosecution didn't put on a very good case. (I think he was guilty but I didn't think he'd be found guilty).

for anyone unsure what this is about, just do a google search for the names mentioned - information abounds on both of these cases.

All I can say is - good!

Same here... I hadn't been following the details of this case very closely, but what I had heard made me think he was getting off.

With responses like these people still wonder why I'm doing all this tedious work?

Glad you like it.
