i need help with a CSS code im working on 4 my IPB,is there any way of shgrinking down the images im using for the dark rows and category bars?

IPB ?
If your post is about CSS, why not posting it in the XML - XSL - XSLT - XHTML - CSS - DOM ?
Also, it'd help if you provided an URL.

quite likely a vareity of ways, but you'll have to clarify what you're asking, what it has to do with CSS (or with server-side-scripting...), and preferably show us an example of the code/page in question.
