With an excellent amount of submissions (16 in total) it was a wonderful harvest. Judging everything and picking the winners was hard, but like Ezra-D said, the only losers are the ones who didn't enter. (Eyezaer, I'm looking at you here Saying you'll enter, then chickening out? You'd better submit something this month...)

A shared third place. Shekky was last to submit this month, but did a great job. Clean, sharp, and very retro. Jung usually goes for quantity (once again submitting three sigs this time ), but has obviously spent a lot of time on this last one.

Second place:



Who needs graphics when you have text? I've only played the Douglas Adams Hitchhiker's game, but this sig captures the essence quite wonderfully. If anything, the text goes by a bit too fast, but maybe I'm just a slow reader.

The winner:



I don't think anyone's going to be surprised about this one. Many people will have thought to themselves 'why didn't I think of that?' (or, if not that, 'why is this stupid computer winning?') and that's exactly what the competition is about, being original.

I like Skarjj's a lot, but I agree that the text goes by a bit fast. I can't read it all before it switches to the next screen.

i think it's very cool that i win my first sig contest with you as judge!

The last time i was judge was March 2001, when, as bunchapixels, i awarded you first place for your pool (as in snooker, billiards, pool table type pool) entry.

Awesome to see that the competition is still going so strong after almost 4 years, and 45 competitions.

Great job all... As I am a man of quantity it seems let me say that I really enjoyed this month's contest. My favorite entry was Poi's!



I just loved that one! Great job! Caugh the spirit of the thing for me and was simple yet nostalgic which I loved...

This month's looks to be a little more challenging. Off to the drawing board...
