Sometimes I actually go back and redo old crap...and finish it.

I know...I'm shocked.

Gee, it feels like everybody's coming back for Christmas.

Nice work, DG. I especially like how you handled the light on his face.

I think the whole thing could benefit from a better background. Right now it feels like the dude is cut-and-paste into that scene - there's some hard dark edges on the guy (mostly on his arm) that completely throw me off.

As a personal preference, I think it'd look great if he were backlit to some degree, ie: make the background darker and give him some kind of miniscule halo, perhaps with colored lighting.

Nice to see you still do the visual art thing in addition to the aural art

I'm the last person who should be saying what I'm about to say, but DG knows how to tell me fuck off if he really wants to.

The highlight on the gentleman's left deltiod is off...too bright, too harsh.
It's way more defined, way more bright than the reflections (from the same light, same angle) on his tricep.
Unless he's wearing super-high-tech-reflecto-gear, his sweat glistened body is going to be more reflective than his t-shirt.

Similar critique, for similar reasons, for the reflections up on the left side of his neck (shirt, goggles cord and skin).

Other than that, very nice.
Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see ya round, Peter. Been awhile.

That pistol (I assume it is a pistol, right?) handle is just driving me nuts. Is that the Handle of a magazine pistol, or a revolver? I can't tell! I keep staring at it - something just doesn't seem right.

Bit of an update...since someone pointed out that the gamma on my newest monitor was f*cked...

*shakes head*

Thanks for the words, guys.

JK: No...no sketches for you.

WS: It's a raygun...go with it...heh. Actually the idea was to have a really solid, blocky butt end of the pistol grip, harsh and heavy.

And yes it's a subliminal face...he sees when you've been sleeping...
