Right. So I get this email from admin@ensellitis.com in my hotmail. I was just about to delete it when I noticed that it began to spell Ozone Aylum in the subject!

I click and read this email:

I logged your IP and will be posting it.

So I guess I'm not supposed to post it here, but I thought this would help put things into context. If any of the mods have a problem with it by all means remove it, I aploguise.

Anyway, I'm reading this and I'm thinking 'what?'. I replied to the email along the lines with saying something like 'I don't know who you are or what you're talking about blah blah confused and such.'

Then I read the email address again, and hey! There's a website... www.ensellitis.com

And what a coincidence that when I visit the website that I'm greeted with:

How immature do you have to be to go to somebody's site and post messages like "Get out of Ozone's Asylum! You're not welcome there!"?

Well pretty stupid. It is people like that who make the web a little bit worse to be in. People like that with the mental capacity of a 4 year old really piss me off. You try and ask for a little help and you go to a message board and your site is attacked by these morons trying to say you are not welcome there... Grow up, fucking grow up.

So, because of people like this, I now present "Hall Of Idiots." When someone says something stupid on the shoutbox, I post thier name, IP, and any other info I can get on them, under the shoutbox and send to me good 'ol friends at WSF who love getting the info for thier fun and games...


Hmm. Now this is starting to make sense (I said to myself). Wait, lemme look at that email again... e n s e l l i t i s... says he's registered at the asylum. Perhaps he emailed me from the asylum? It's quite possible with that crazy new holy grail application.

I look up this guy, Ensellitis, and I come to his profile. And half his posts are site reviews.

After deciphering this situation a little bit. I've come to two similar conclusions:

1. Someone went and posted on his site and told him to leave and sir Ensellitis got the wrong person when he found my IP.
2. Someone thought they could be slick and post on his site on my name and get my IP posted publically.

I guess the reason that I posted this thread was to rule out the possibility of numer 2.

So if anyone decided to go piss him on at his site under my alias InSiDeR, here's your chance to own up. Regardless, I'd appriciate it if my IP was not posted publically . That would not be good.

I would like to apologize. There was a hack attempt on my site as well as a few shoutbox posts with questionable content. I was jumping to a conclusion when i saw the names and I already cleared up with another person who was "faked."

I noticed some things such as these posts being made within seconds of each other.

Like I said, I was able to clear it up with one person. I was in the process of writing a formal apology and sending it to you and him.

The person who did hack/post IP was not recorded for some reason, so I installed some more tracking software.

After checking the other guys IP I noticed he had never been to my site before I had talked to him.

Once again I am dreadfully sorry, I was extremely angry that someone would do such things after all my work. No ips will be posted unless I am 100% sure it was them, and I said what I said incase you actually did post or hack to try and scare you into fessing up. I hope you can forgive me.

I get jerks on my shouter all the time, it's really no sweat, I leave em be, maybe send a witty reply, or if they're offensive, delete em.

It's no problem ensellitis. I just got the email and I was like, huh? No hard feelings, just kick back and relax, as am I =).

Good. I'm glad to know this was resolved peaceably. I trust we can relegate this to the depths now?

Looks like it.

Except for the fact that *someone* is obviously feeling they are capable of laaving messages at other people's sites, speaking for the Asylum community as if they ahve a right to.

And associating idotic and insulting behavior with the Ozone Asylum.

It'd be nice to know who and why, but barring that:

if you (addressed to whoever...) are the idiot doing it - knock it off and get a life....

And as a sidenote - it's a very good idea to be sure you know who you are talking to before you reply with equally insulting emails and messages.

Yeah, you are right. I should have done more investigating before accusing anyone.

I should have known that about all of the regulars here are not capable of lower thier IQs that low...
