Topic awaiting preservation: Simple Menu recommendation (Page 1 of 1)

Hello,

I need to develop a very simple menu. Imagine:
The Title of a small area on the page, when you hover over it, up pops a menu with other relevant topics for the small area. The titles might be:

Calendar of Events
Active Events
Yohoo Group Events

Where "Calendar of Events" is default...
I'm going to start writing this using predifined DIV tags with absolute positioning I will use an element on the page to align them to. Good start?

This is just way cool, I had trouble with her (above) position finding script but the element position script here is excellent:

So, I'm on my way. I have a very simple example of script which moves a div to the location of an existing element. I'll work on hiding the div's tomorrow. And somehow creating a roll-over effect -- oh, I bet I could accomplish something with CSS - once the layer is visible.... (thinking outloud).

I did it! Wrote my first dynamic menu system and content. Hope it works on multi-browser! I did cross-browser coding, but not sure if I got all of that right.

Problems I have discovered and would like help with:
1. Menu doesn't always go away
2. There is nothing that says the title is a roll-over. Any suggestions on how to design that better?
