congrats Slime!

all those leaves look like heavy macro madness to me.
interesting that the radiosity pass only took 3 hours considering the big number of leaves.

it also loos like you used additional light sources in the back? how many light sources all together?

love the color combination in your's, Slime.

I don't see why some made it up as far as they did.
I mean, they're all decent renders, but I just don't see anything in some of them
(but it might be me, my art education is still lacking), but what's in No 7. except for the
sheer level of detail (which is probably much lower than in no. 2, especially due to the repetition)?

So long,

Thanks guys.

The radiosity pass was fairly quick because I used pretty low settings for it. Then I used high settings for the final pass, making the best use I could out of a relatively small number of samples.

There's only one light source, but it lights up the whole scene, and the beams of light near the front may make it look like the back is illuminated.

TP: I agree, for some images I wondered how they did as well as they did. But then, others have commented on some of those saying how much they liked them. So I guess it's just a personal preference.
