Ok, I can't find anything about this in the Microsoft Knowledge Base, so maybe one of you wonderfully smart folks can tell me how to fix this:

I have a staff member who has MS Office XP installed on her machine, we have just upgraded to 2003, but the problem existed before the upgrade, in fact, we were hoping that the upgrade would correct it!

When she tries to use the wizards in Access to create reports or queries, the system flashes an error message:

"ActiveX Control cannot create object"

Because our systems are imaged by our IT department, we don't have physical discs handy to reinstall it, and IT has been particularly unhelpful.
I'm really just looking for information about what ActiveX Controls might be causing the problems, then I might have an idea how to fix it. Or - if you happen to know how to fix it, you might save me some work and just let me know...
Much obliged!

Sorry - I had the syntax of the error incorrect. It actually says:

ActiveX component cannot create object.

I found a couple of related help files online, I think it's a damanged wizard file, so I'm gonna check that out. Feel free to add suggestions anyway - information is always helpful...

Thanks!
