My computer is being incredibly stupid it keeps giving me an error message that reads:

qttask.exe
This application has failed to start becasue C:\Windows\system32\msob920b.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I have already tried a system restore and reinstalling windows. Microsoft won't help. Suggestions?

Sorry pal, my computer skills end at turning the thing on and sometimes I botch that.

Perhaps you should post your plea on one of the threads where the techies screech and howl?

Isn't that a Quick Time thing?
You know, QT's little thing that sits in the background just waiting to spring into action?

(I hate those background things.)

^ Yeah it is, and it's a useless task. Just remove it from your startup sequence and all will be well in that department.

You must have done this already I know but a quick google found these two sites I am not a geek and Nuber.com Both of them seem to say that it most likely not a virus. Not much help I know but that's all I can think of. Can you re-install Quick Time to see if that sorts things out?

Couple of new problems now.
I reinstalled windows xp but now whenever I try to log into the system it says that i can't because the domain can't be found or doesn't exist.

HOW DO I FIX THIS! I need to get my taxes done!
