Topic awaiting preservation: Text typing (Page 1 of 1)

Ok. I need some help im making a sig for someone and i want to make the text look like it is actually typing it up in the animation. i have the sig done except i think that kind of animation will make it look better soo if someone can showe me a tutorial of it I will be greatly appreciate

The simplest way would probably be to just get a screen capture program (hypercam.com [sorry, I forget the better, uberfree ones I knew of]), make a video of you typing, then convert & edit as necessary.

Or even more simple would be to put each letter on its own layer and reveal them one at the time through the animation, as I did in this sig:
