Topic awaiting preservation: Tailoring FF for Asylum ?

There was a recent thread which I cannot find, where a bunch of 'you' were using an extension perhaps?... or otherwise tailoring FireFox to 'search' this place..or something like that. (clear as mud?) =)

Anyway... my silly little mind has been wondering if there might be some method to link Firefox to a local file (my computer)so that when reading a post and I click on your name up pops your photo?

Silly thought came to me as I was grabbing all the 'faces' from the 'What do we all look like' thread.

AS with most of my silly thoughts.. it probably is just that. =)

The search extension in question is available in the Releases | GreaseMonkey user scripts section of my site.

You could well make a custom CSS using pattern matching to put the faces you have in background of the A tags linking to the profile of the inmates for whom you have a picture. But indeed doing a GreaseMonkey user script could provide a mean to click on any picture in the Asylum and assign it to an inmate and store the whole thing in a cookie or remotely on another server.
