I thought I would post this for you guys...
One in particular is pretty handy.

quote:
XP Tips - Arranging windows on your desktop
You can display any two windows side by side on the desktop by first clicking a window's button on the Taskbar. Next, press and hold the Ctrl key and right-click the second window that you want to open, then click Tile Vertically. This works great when you want to view two Word or Internet Explorer windows at the same time.

Note: On the create your own icons, you have to save them as type 24-bit Bitmap, but you add the .ico extension in the file name.

If you guys know of any other useful things, post them here.

Ok I got a few tips about using the Windows key (WK)...

WK + E: Opens up Windows Explorer (I use this every day!).
WK + D: Shows the desktop (same as using the QuickLaunch Desktop link)
WK + M: Minimises all windows
WK + Shift and M: maximises all windows
WK + L: Locks the machine
WK + F: Opens the find window
WK + R: opens the run dialogue
WK + Pause/Break: Opens the Systems Properties window.

To change the theme of Windows XP you first need to patch the UXTheme.dll to allow non-Microsoft themes to be applied, you can do this using the Multipatcher.

Themes can be found at a number of places, but I recommend using deviantArt or Customize.Org, I'd also recommend going for themes that are highest rated or have the most downloads, as there are a hell of a lot of ropey themes out there.

Oh and if you want to search for them, they're usually called XP Visual Styles, not 'Themes'
