Topic awaiting preservation: Photoshop Color Help

Hi, I was using photoshop CS and i noticed that the other day the color went awkard on me. Pictures are showing up with more color depths and such... like the picture is not in the colors it's suppose to be in.. but when doing Save for Web option the preview shows the real color... I tried playing with Edit > Colors but nothing happened. Any clue?

look into gamma correction, maybe

ah thanks... it did seem like after my video driver messed up they changed the setting on adobe gamma control... how do i check it my colors rite... i kept playing but don't know if it was the original setting i had
