i read about this kb on /. its actually a key tronics with the lettering removed and about 50 bucks added to the price.

"This keyboard is simply a Keytronic E03600 Black USB with the caps replaced. They didn't even change their wording for most of the description."

but that frag board now thats something i could dig!

Best way to learn how to type correctly is to get an ergonomic keyboard, such as those by Microsoft. I've gone to nearly 80 words per minute after using them. They correctly position your hands so that you're more likely to use the correct fingers on the correct keys.

Well worth the money, and they're cheaper than this Keytronics keyboard. And more comfortable, too.

Ah who cares about typing!! 80% of the world that surfs can type! We've stumbled upon a topic of much greater importance! THE FRAG BOARD!!

A quick search on Froogle gave me this, the Ideazon ZBoard Cusomizable Gaming Keyboard said to be the ultimate gaming keyboard! LOOK it's got a free Battlefield 2 Keyset!!!! AAHAAAAHHHHH!

Hehe! Brilliant idea! Being a hunt and scrabble typist (though a quick one) I could see that vastly improving my touch-typing skills (or vastly decreasing my words-per-minute).

Wouldn't pay the price for it though. I think I could come up with an easier solution than that last link( ^ ) with a cheap keyboard at a slight cost for the right solvents.

Das Keyboard to ZBoard - Uber to Gamer Geek!

Temps - a friend has the ZBoard with the Doom3 keyset. Pretty mental, but I can see keysets potentially being mislayed or damaged (despite seeming fairly rugged once folded). Also, I found the key action to be spongey and unsatisfying, while the split Space Bar (to accomodate the hinge and offer extra key combination possibilities) irritated me in ways I can't quite put a finger (or thumb) on.

On the plus side, the ZBoard allows for much many more simultaneous key presses! Ideal when you're sprinting and ducking between sand-bag walls, alternately firing/reloading your assault rifle and lobbing grenades at the enemy... umm... or something.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzz....
