Pretty nifty. That's a complex series of events to work out. Took me a while to figure out the right order.

I remember the first GROW, which was a bit more complex (more items), but it didn't really have a goal (other than to get everything to max, of course). This one was neat because you had to do a traditional RPG style quest. It was quite scripted, obviously, but fun nonetheless.

That was pretty cool.

I never actually got to the final demon without being able to beat him. I think it was too difficult to get past the purple dragon, because that was where I almost *always* died; I never got to lose to the demon.

I don't think it's possible to lose to the demon. With the way things play out, if you beat the purple dragon, you get access to the powerups that allow you to defeat the demon.

I never lost to the demon either. Once I finally got past the purple dragon, I had max sword and armor and all the powerups.

The neat thing about it is that all that is really secondary to the gameplay--the game isn't about beating the demon, it's about growing everything to max level (just like the first game). That's why the RPG story is so scripted. Still fun, though.

WHY DOES THE PURPLE DRAGON HAVE TO BE SO DAMN TOUGH!!!! I don't see how a little pixel king can scare the dragon when I CAN'T!!

Well, that's easy. He's the king.

Remember, it's all about getting everything to grow in the right order so everything goes to max level. Everything else is just frosting.

Coolness!

Took a bit to find out the correct order to "grow" things...

Great!

That was fun. Although it did seem a bit easier, I liked this one better than the original Grow because of the "RPG" element.

Figured it out. It's easy once you check how long everything takes to max out. Then it's just put things in order so that they max out right when they need to.

Or, you can think about the main character - where does he come from? *hint, hint*

- that in turn leads to the next item, and then the next. After that, it is pretty easy.

templar: If you're still having trouble, try this: at the end of an iteration, write down the levels of all of the objexts. Anything at maximum level is early enough in the sequence to grow to its full (and necessary) potential. Anything that has a number after the level hasn't grown to its maximum yet. Shuffle these items around so that they appear earlier in the sequence. Eventually you will figure out where each of the objects need to be in the sequence in order to grow to maximum level.

At least, that's the purely mathematical way of doing it. The animations themselves should also give you some clues.
