http://www.thamesgatewaybusinessawards.co.uk/

A bit of a long url I know, but it is what my mate at work requested...

Not completely finished yet, I have yet to sort out some validation errors for the Business News pages, these are pulling in feed from our cms system which is currently not xhtml compliant, br's & img tags need to be switched to self closing and I believe the ampersands need to be encoded properly in the links, other than that I can't see anything else which needs sorting.

There may be some mismatched td's & tr's but once again that is purely a problem with the cms template which I need to sort out.

Feel free to completely say what you think, I always strive to improve myself.

the main graphic, the header, make it a png, likely a bigger filesize looking at the image but it should be much more crisp, I find the loss unprofessional and this is a well done site with good purpose and audience, it deserves crispiness there!

Along those same lines^ I'd like to see the h3's and .boxhead type stuff using an image replacement technique for crispiness

I know you're proud of the compliance but the buttons belong on blogs in my view, they somehow cheapen a "real world site" for me, if you gotta have em consider text links in the footer?

Good stuff, specially the David Thorpe-Tracey article, anything football related sways me to the positive

Cheers,

Moved comliance text to the footer & done the image replacement for the sidebar & I must admit it looks better now.

Anything else?

I'd say the header image is too tall. On my browser window (Which is usually around 800x600 in size) all the content gets pushed under the fold.
