The proper display is in Mozilla/FF.
I know IE breaks it and it's possible others do as well. For now I'm only concerned about making it work in IE and FF.

Any ideas are welcome. I'm using WordPress and trying to adapt it to the layout.

Cheers!

Edit: My first real post in over a year and I screw up the grammar in the subject. Fantastic.

Well, N/M I guess. I got it working for the most part. I do still havel a question though.

I'm using the hack whereby an " * " is placed before a declaration in the stylesheet and on IE for Windows will read it. How good of an idea is it to use this trick? Does it end up breaking anything else?

I, personally, ahve never encountered a problem with it, but I prefer, instead, to use the _ hack. if you prepend _ to a property name (or, for example, '_line-height') IE Windows will read it, but everything else will ignore it. If you just make sure the these _ versions come after any other declarations of the same element, then IE will take them as an overriding element, and Bob's your uncle.

^ Just a 'saying.' He could have ended with 'and there you have it.'

You can also do a little mixing and matching.

height:50px;
_height:70px;
_hei\ght:60px;

the underscore _hack affects all version of IE, whereas the consolidated box model ha\ck only hides the style from 5.1/5.5

So what the above does is:

Moz: 50px
IE5.1/5.5: 70px
IE6: 60px

Comes in handy sometimes for those pesky little issues.
