Well I was browsing through the flyers and this one caught my eye.

Sony Cybershot 7.2mp
3x optical zoom
2" lcd
mpeg movie mode

All for 399.99. The sale ends tommorow though. I just want a camera for taking pictures. Would this be a good deal. There is also another one

3x Optical zoom, 6x digital zoom
Price: 188.99

So which one's the better one just for taking pictures? I don't need to blow any pictures up.

If you just want the basics it looks like the second one's probably better.

Late but still, I've got the Cybershot 7.2 and it's a great camera, granted, it's not a system camera but for a small pocketsize it's super.

The movies are good enough for tv-display and it does grab sound as well.

If you have the $$ I'd say go for the 7.2
