Google Maps API
Has anyone looked at this yet? Found anything interesting? Any limitations?

I found this thread: http://www.ozoneasylum.com/26004 , but that was all here. I've started looking through the API, but wanted to get some other opinions on it or things to look out for.

Yep - I'm heavily involved in a project that should go public before the end of the year. Some cool stuff is being done with the API, and one only need to cruise the newsgroup there, or check out Google Maps Mania, or Mapki for some cool ideas.

One of the things that this is really starting to increase is the use of AJAX. Most of the mapping projects using the API are using AJAX
