Hey all. I have some videos shot from a cam corder that I have moved over to my RCA Lyra. The files are *.avi files.

When I try to play them it comes up with an error that says:
MPEG4-ASP. B-Frames Detected. Audio Sync may not be correct. Well sure enough it is way off and the video doesn't play, it's just all scrambled.

I am looking for some software that will correct this problem but I am not sure what the problem really is. I am guessing that my player doesn't know what MPEG4-ASP (Advanced Simple Protocol) is and I need to convert it to something different. Got any clues what I can use and what to convert them to?

Thanks in advance!

Well just in case anyone else runs across "B-Frames" here is how to get rid of them (if needed). You need Dr. DivX and from the "Advanced Settings" change the Bidirectional Encoding to "OFF" encode the file and all is good.
