I *was* kinda active here like, 2 years ago or something, and I forgot about this place and my account name.
Previously this years, I made another account, since I had forgot about my first one.
I just remembered I had that backup account, and Im planning och coming back, sorta.

Anyhow, here I am. Now beat me at pong.

This used to be such a lively place right? but the trends move on. besides, there werent there many fanboys here anyway. you need bigger sites liked deviantart, to get a better fanboy/relativeTalent ratio.

What do you mean about fanboy ratio, anyway? Didnt really get that..

I'll try and try to get the file, whenever I do I'll get right into it.

mNinjae, right-clicking the link and selecting 'save copy'/'save as' should work if the browser doesn't treat it like a download automagically.

But appearently, firefox treated it like as a txt file. Worked in IE though.

I'll finish my current stuff, and get on to it.

OK, if you say so... Just mentioned it as it did work for me in FF.

Glad ya liked the tool. What i said about the fanboys was basically this. People with skills will get more attention, if they show off those skills to a larger number of people.

It kinda crashed on me. At the moment I am downloading linux Suse, I heard that was a good distrobution.

Anyhow, let me just wait a few hours, and install photoshop, and I'll get right to it :)

i kid i kid, but try to keep the size to acceptable amounts. that means delete delete the redundant layers.

On a comment, SUSE is very nice, i think. But then again, it is one of the few distributions i've tried. But if you're unlucky and have a hardware component that is hard to install, or with drivers not supporting the SUSE kernel version, you do best if you try a distribution from your own home country. Because those usually support the weird hardware, if that hardware is more or less popular in their country of origin.

Slowness is fine, Ive got other stuff to do also.

I am trying to install suse over ftp, because Im to lazy to download the whole thing, but the kernel module thingy doesnt seem to except my network card.
If I dont get it to work via internet install, I'll download the whole os and boot from that. But that'll take like, 10 hours or so .

Great stuff chaps, I've been away so have only now had the chance to see what y'all been up to, and 'twas nice.
With regard to viewing the .psd's, I was under the impression that it was ok to DL psd's in a pong thread.
Now that I have said it, I don't know where I got that impression from.
Perhaps it's a bit cheeky to DL them without asking first.
In which case, I'm the one who has been a bit cheeky.
I've just DL'ed the "exceeded-the-size-as-well-psd", but you have my word that I will not look at it untill both of you have ok'ed it, and if you don't I will delete it without viewing.
Phew, the mess I get myself into

I also could not download the linked psd in Firefox, by the normal and right click way. It treated it like a text file. So I had to fire up IE and download from there. I'd forgotten how nice the Asylum looks in IE, with those handsome scroll bars. I don't get that in Firefox.

yeah... this place could be a bit more active.

I dont post much, but I've been around since about the time Tao showed up. I've always been too humbled by the excellent artists here to post anything of my own. And any questions Ive had, I can usually find the answers to in the archives. So I havent really needed to post. but its a blast to watch.

but I think Ill come out of hiding for a bit. I relized a bit too late, that I could have really used some commentary on a movie poster contest I entered. I wasnt quite happy with my entry but noone could really give me a straight answer either way. Id forgotten that I had the asylum to ask. Crazy people always have good advice.
