Sorry for the delay - lost in the code - believe it or not

Anyway.... sweet, sickly sweet, blaaaah - that's the topic.

I don't think I've anything sweet or sickly sweet in the pipeline these days Ian but,,,
I felt totally sick when some toe-rag pinched my bike from outside the library where I had locked it up while I checked my email.
I just stood there, the way you do, staring at the space that should have had my bike in. All that was left was the cut chain and memories and the hope that the failing brakes landed him in a heap of broken bones
Sorry I missed the shout last week I was away (walking mostly) for a while.

Makes ya real cranky, huh - you can only sort of hope that they truly needed it reeeeaal bad - if that's any comfort at all

We might leave this one open for a bit longer; it's so busy here that I have yet to find a photo for my own subject and I'm sure most people are in the same boat.

Any chances of a 'bigger'/ hi resolution of that shot. I've been looking for something to put on an xmas card for my wife and being the cat lovers we, especially, 'she who must be obeyed' is/are... that certainly fits the bill. Just tooo cool.

I guess you could always say 'How sweet it was. (the bike) and 'How sweet it will be' ... when the thief does the crash and burn. =)

Yeah, thanks for the thoughts guys, It's a done deed now and well forgotten. I just like to bemoan the human condition now and again

I put the image up here because the link I posted above was broken - Typepad has been down for a day or so. It's now been restored so here is a permalink to the posted image. I found this while walking down the street...don't know how long it had been there. You can see the lock still holding what's left of it tight to the pole

Heh, thanks DL I'll have to get myself one of those locks! I'm down to my last set of wheels:

and she's been a little sickly of late.

So it's 3 weeks now - not much has been posted, but seems time to pick someone and move on =)
