Three new and very interesting software releases:
OGLE: The OpenGLExtractor
Adobe Acrobat 3D
Google Picasa

I thought I might put a thread up to see what people think of these new programs. Anyone had a play around with any of them?

Google Picasa is the only one I've had a go at and it's pure brilliance I think. The fact it's free as well also helps. Very nifty with what it does, especially dig the transitional slideshow and ability to edit most types of image file formats. The "Im Feeling Lucky" button for image editing is rather groovy too. As for the other two, I haven't checked out Acrobat 3D but not sure about OGLE, cool program but not sure what the benefits of it could be.

I've also had a go with Picasa, I find it's a really nice tool to use. I've installed it on my parents machine and it's easy to pick up and learn that they enjoy using it for their large digital photo album.

Wow, only one other person has a comment\opinion. Surely there's others.

I really want to like Picasa, but I can't. Automatic sort by date blows.
