Ok, so my question is probably very daft, but I can't suss this one out... I think it started today, but I am not quite sure: anyway, when I open a web page which contains some Flash, the Flash area gets surrounded by a kind of dotted border on roll over.
Then I need to click once in the Flash area to make the movie active, then I can take actions (for instance, click on a button within the Flash movie). How come? Also, am I being thick or something?

Thanks in advance for your help...

Yep, this is exclusive to IE and there's nothing that I know of that can be done about it from the users point of view.

You can see this thread for more on the subject.

I've been using this script... works very well. Gives you the ability to pass vars into flash and all sorts of cool stuff. Peace.
